Role Overview
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with a strong background in cloud-based projects and expertise in OpenStack. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating between multiple stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of cloud deployment projects while maintaining a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, provisioning, and orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Project Management:Lead and manage cloud-based projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- OpenStack Expertise:Oversee deployments, provisioning, and operations of OpenStack-based cloud solutions.
- Stakeholder Coordination:Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to align project goals with business objectives.
- Partner Management:Engage with vendors and technology partners to streamline cloud integration and deployment.
- Risk Management:Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues proactively.
- Process Optimization:Implement best practices in Agile and DevOps methodologies to enhance project execution efficiency.
- Documentation & Reporting:Maintain project progress, Jira boards, technical implementation records, and decision logs.
- Technical Guidance:Work closely with cloud architects and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience:5-7 years of project management experience in cloud-based environments.
- Cloud Knowledge:Strong understanding of OpenStack, Kubernetes, and core cloud infrastructure such as compute, storage, and networking.
- Project Management:Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies. Familiarity with CI/CD, automation tools, and cloud security practices.
- Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Certifications (Preferred):PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or OpenStack-related certifications.
