Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will drive automation for implementing scalable and robust applications across public and private cloud. You will ensure high performance and low latency, with a deep understanding of Azure and Kubernetes. You'll collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize infrastructure and guide engineers in solving complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership:Be responsible for systems used by global customers.
- Goal Setting:Set goals for the overall system and break them down into sub-system goals.
- Optimization:Identify performance bottlenecks and propose solutions to reduce build/test time and cost.
- Thought Leadership:Contribute to capacity planning for hardware/software across public and internal cloud environments.
- Collaboration:Work closely with development teams to identify data flow bottlenecks, design APIs, and own deployments.
Requirements
- Experience:4+ years of industry experience in DevOps roles.
- Kubernetes:Strong experience with unmanaged Kubernetes or on-prem Kubernetes.
- CI/CD & Tools:Hands-on experience with Helm charts,Github Actions & Ansible Jenkins, GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Knowledge:Solid understanding of hybrid, multi-cloud architecture and edge computing.
- Containers and VMs:Strong experience with Docker containers and Virtual Machines.
- Monitoring:Familiarity with Grafana and Prometheus monitoring tools.
