Role Overview
As the VP of Engineering, you will lead the engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to design, build, and scale Coredge's sovereign cloud and GPU-as-a-Service platform. This role requires strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, data center orchestration, GPU-based workloads, and managing high-performing technical teams across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Strategy:Define and execute the engineering vision for our sovereign cloud and GPU-as-a-Service platform, driving innovation in cloud orchestration and AI workloads.
- Engineering & Development:Lead teams working with Go, Python, Kubernetes, and distributed systems to develop scalable, high-performance infrastructure for compute, storage, and GPU orchestration.
- Team Leadership & Management:Build and mentor engineering, DevOps, and SRE teams. Align engineering execution with company goals while fostering a high-performance culture.
- DevOps & Infrastructure:Champion CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability, and regulatory-compliant cloud-native infrastructure management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with product, business, and operations teams to ensure technical solutions meet strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Experience:14+ years in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or software engineering, with leadership experience across engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure functions.
- Cloud Expertise:Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenStack, software-defined networking, and data center orchestration in sovereign cloud or GPU environments.
- Programming & Systems:Proficiency in Go (Golang), Python, and experience with HPC, GPU-accelerated workloads, and scalable microservices architectures.
- DevOps Skills:Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Communication:Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical discussions.
